The seventh meeting on sharing the priorities of Afghanistan’s sectoral institutions with representatives of donors, international organizations, the United Nations, and development partners was held on today (October 28, 2026), at the Marmarin Palace, under the leadership of the Public Relations Directorate of the Office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs.
During the meeting, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s priorities were presented to donors and international organizations.
These priorities covered a range of areas, including creating investment opportunities across the country, establishing business centers, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthening the marketing capacity of domestic products, processing and packaging locally manufactured goods, expanding exports, and several other areas.
The priorities were identified with a view to promoting the country’s economic growth, supporting the private sector, creating employment opportunities, and strengthening productive industries.
