During the meeting, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s priorities were presented to donors and international organizations.
These priorities covered a range of areas, including creating investment opportunities across the country, establishing business centers, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthening the marketing capacity of domestic products, processing and packaging locally manufactured goods, expanding exports, and several other areas.
The priorities were identified with a view to promoting the country’s economic growth, supporting the private sector, creating employment opportunities, and strengthening productive industries. The aim is to ensure that future assistance and development cooperation from donor institutions and international organizations are aligned and coordinated, to the greatest extent possible, within the framework of these priorities.
Representatives of donor institutions and international organizations thanked the Office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for sharing these priorities with them. They added that they would organize their future assistance and cooperation in line with the identified priorities.
