The Disaster Management Commission, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, held its first meeting. The head of the commission, Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, directed the relevant ministries and agencies of the commission to provide emergency assistance to the people affected by the recent rains.

Mr. Mullah Sahib recommended all the organs related to The Disaster Management Commission to be fully prepared to provide assistance to the people in the event of any natural calamity in the future.
