National Procurement Commission's Meeting: Approvals, Rejections, and Evaluations of Key Projects

Under the leadership of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, the National Procurement Commission convened a regular meeting on May 27, 2023, at Marmarin Palace. During the session, the commission delved into the intricacies of 24 projects outlined on the agenda. Out of these, contracts for 9 projects were approved, contracts for 2 projects were rejected, and the remaining projects were entrusted to joint committees for meticulous technical evaluation. These committees will submit their findings to the upcoming National Procurement Commission meeting. The approved projects encompass a diverse range of initiatives spanning the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Education, the Afghan Millie Bank, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, and Kabul Municipality. Collectively, the value of these projects amounts to hundreds of millions of Afghanis.
