The regular meeting of the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission was held on November 3, 2025, at the Marmarin Palace. In this meeting, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum presented the draft policy on the utilization of domestic resources in mining projects for discussion. Following a comprehensive review, the draft policy was deemed endorsable and referred to the Economic Commission for final decision-making.

The implementation of this policy will enhance the technical and vocational skills of the workforce in the mining sector, create sustainable employment opportunities within mining projects, increase the utilization of domestic resources, reduce reliance on imports, and also provide grounds for the development of domestic industries and the local economy.

Additionally, during the meeting, several other topics were discussed, and necessary recommendations were made to the relevant institutions.
