Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, visited Nimroz Province

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, made a visit to Nimroz province on the first day of the new year (1402 solar year) alongside a delegation of high-ranking officials including Foreign Minister, Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Deputy Minister of Water and Energy, Mujib Ur Rahman Umar, Chairman of National Development Corporation, Abdul Rahman Attash, and others. Following a meeting with the Governor, the delegation inspected the Kamal Khan Dam and discussed solutions to the water issues faced by the people of Nimroz province, including the timely water supply to agricultural lands. The Deputy PM and delegation examined the installation of turbines at the dam and provided guidance to the officials on increasing the capacity of water storage, canal cleaning, and overall effective management. Mullah Baradar Akhund acknowledged the national importance of the Kamal Khan Dam and commended those responsible for the initiative. Finally, he listened to technical engineers' opinions on dam construction and water control, directing officials from the Ministry of Water and Energy to collaborate with them to solve any issues.
