Ministry of Mines and Petroleum: We can supply raw materials for electricity generation from coal for at least 30 years

In order to produce electricity from coal a special commission conducted which was headed by First Deputy PM Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund.

In this special commission Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund tasked the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum for mining; the Ministry of Energy and Water for absorption and distribution of the electricity; and the officials of chambers of industry and mines for attracting investment to work under the Ministry of Energy and Water, and conduct detailed technical and professional research and discussions about the mentioned aspects of the issue.

The members of this commission requested to provide their reports to the coming session of the Commission for evaluation.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan can supply raw materials for electricity generation from coal for at least 30 years.
