Assurance Given to Industrialists and Traders Regarding Resolution of Challenges in Various Sectors

Today, July 24, 2025,  officials of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Office and the Ministry of Finance held a meeting with approximately 150 representatives of national traders and industrialists at the Marmarin Palace.

During this meeting, the national traders and industrialists shared their concerns regarding electricity shortages, land allocation in industrial parks, development of industrial infrastructure, facilitation of the export process, resolution of fumigation and transit-related challenges, establishment of air corridors, reduction of tariffs on agricultural products and minerals, lowering of transportation costs, resolution of customs-related issues, acceleration of loading and unloading processes, construction of cold storage facilities, license renewals, issuance of business visas, development of major transportation and transit routes, securing international markets for Afghan products, and several other issues.

Officials from the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Office and the Ministry of Finance assured the national traders and industrialists that concrete steps have already been taken by the relevant ministries and agencies to resolve a number of the shared concerns, and these issues will be addressed in the near future. They further committed to working seriously with the respective ministries and agencies on the remaining issues and to presenting the proposed solutions to the Economic Commission and the senior leadership of the Islamic Emirate.
