Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund Visits the New Building of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent

During his visit to Uzbekistan, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, inspected the new building of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent today, February 23, 2025. During the visit, Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar Bahr, the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Tashkent, provided the Deputy Prime Minister with details regarding the new building.

While touring the Afghan Embassy, the Deputy Prime Minister stated to the embassy officials that, by the grace of Allah, Afghanistan now has a government that genuinely serves its people and fulfills its duties. He further emphasized that ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of the Afghan people is their sole objective, urging all officials to strive for the timely and effective resolution of citizens’ issues. He added that Afghanistan can only achieve stability when the government serves its people and the people, in turn, support the government in all matters.

Officials of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the embassy’s activities, stating that with the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, many of the problems faced by Afghan refugees and workers in Uzbekistan have been resolved to a significant extent.

It is worth mentioning that the construction of the new Afghan Embassy building in Tashkent has been completed and will soon be put into operation.
