The inaugural session of the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee convened at Marmarin Palace. This committee has been instituted with the primary objective of expediting the mobilization of both domestic and foreign investments, enhancing coordination among pertinent ministries and government agencies throughout the investment planning phases, establishing a conducive investment climate, and ensuring effective governance of affairs.  It seeks to introduce speed and transparency to investment processes, improve collaboration between governmental bodies and the private sector, and furnish potential investors with comprehensive information regarding investment projects within Afghanistan. With the commencement of the committee's operations, domestic and international investors are now invited to submit their plans in accordance with the defined standards, including project title, investor or institution name, exhaustive particulars about the investor (natural person or representative), company license, contact information, email, and legal representation documents, as well as project identification, objectives, strategies for goal attainment, budgetary requirements, funding sources, implementation timeline, and plan duration. These submissions are made in person to the Secretariat of the Economic Commission at the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office.
