Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, attended and delivered his speech at a meeting to encourage and support Afghanistan's iron smelting factories in order to strengthen the country's economy.

During his speech, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs said: "Without a doubt, the role of industrialists in the economic development of the country is crucial, and we are delighted that Afghan industrialists have played their role very well."

The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs added that the economic growth of the developed countries of the world started with industrial activities, and it took a long time for them to become industrialized. In the future, we hope that Afghanistan will likewise complete this path successfully and have a strong economy.

Addressing the gathering, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund said: "I, as a responsible person, am calling on the industrialists and traders to provide their products according to the standards; because if the IEA prefers industry for the prosperity of the country and its citizens, then quality and standards are the most important."

The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs also added that, as a responsible government, we strongly support all the industrialists and traders, especially the iron smelting factories. We are doing our best to cooperate with you to ensure your access to electricity as well as your financial and personal security.

In addition, Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund said: "As you all know, we have prevented the removal of scrap iron from the country. Our goal was to meet your need for raw materials and support our domestic production. The IEA is planning to tender iron mines through transparent processes, so that our iron smelting factories do not face a shortage of raw materials in the future."

In the end, he thanked the industrialists of the country for their efforts in the economic growth and development of their country, providing job opportunities to the people and meeting the daily needs of the citizens.
