The Economic Commission, headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, says that the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum can contract the exploration and extraction of the Ghorian Iron Ore Mine in Herat and the Tolak Lead Mine in Ghor province.

The Economic Commission also made a serious recommendation to the relevant ministries and agencies to solve the problems of the manufacturing factories and companies on time and without any delay.

Considering the current high demand of people, and the existing problems in domestic salt production, the Economic Commission also directed the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum to award contracts to domestic companies for the production and refining of salt mines.
