At the 23rd regular meeting of the Economic Commission, in order to resolve the transportation problems, the scheme and proposals made by the Transport Regulatory Commission of the IEA were discussed in detail.

The Economic Commission, in order to establish a standard land transport system in Afghanistan and to solve transportation problems, confirmed a ten-article scheme of the Transport Regulation Commission, with the exception of Article 10 (Arrangement of truck shifts at border ports), which is only applicable on a trial basis for six months.

It is worth mentioning that with the implementation of this scheme, about 30 billion Afghanis will be collected annually in the state treasury.
