The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs participated in the mourning ceremony for the late Haji Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani.

This morning, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, attended the mourning ceremony for the late Haji Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani in Garda Serai district of Paktia province.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister prayed for the soul of Haji Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani and described him as a strong Mujahid and a true servant of the people. He stated that his loss is an irreparable one for the Islamic Emirate.
The Deputy Prime Minister, along with other attendees of the mourning ceremony, extended their condolences and sympathies to the family members of the late Haji Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani and to the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, Sirajuddin Haqqani. They prayed to Almighty Allah for Paradise for the martyr and patience for his family.
