Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, convened with ulemas and tribal leaders from Uruzgan Province in his office on Saturday, January 6th, to address their concerns. The ulemas and tribal leaders of Uruzgan commended the overall security situation in the country, expressing unwavering support for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. They also brought forth various issues during their meeting with the Deputy PM, including the reconstruction of roads from the central Tarinkot to the districts, the provision of clean drinking water, and the construction of check dams. Recognizing the unique sacrifices made by the residents of Uruzgan and the Mujahideen in ending the 20-year occupation and establishing the Islamic system, Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund emphasized that the nation is currently enjoying a self-governing system, providing peace to all Afghans. Mullah Baradar Akhund highlighted the commencement of reconstruction and development projects across the country, assuring that more facilities are now available to citizens than ever before. Acknowledging the challenges inherited by the Islamic Emirate, he stated that resolving these issues will require time and resources. He pledged the Islamic Emirate's commitment to gradually address all problems in accordance with the people's priorities. Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund reassured the ulemas and tribal leaders of Uruzgan of his dedication to taking appropriate actions to address their concerns, particularly focusing on the construction of roads, provision of clean drinking water, and the establishment of check dams extending from Tarinkot to the districts.
