During the meeting, an extensive dialogue ensued, addressing concerns related to freight transport companies exceeding prescribed charges, the organization of freight cars across all national customs, and a review of tax documents belonging to national traders and industrialists by the Ministry of Finance. Following a thorough discussion, a decision was reached to form a committee comprising representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Industry and Commerce, Transport and Aviation, alongside the Chambers of Industry and Mines, Commerce and Investment, and the freight transport companies. This committee, led by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office representative, is tasked with visiting major customs offices nationwide to assess issues pertaining to excessive fare charges and queue management for freight trucks. The committee will subsequently present its findings to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office leadership. Additionally, it was decided to include a representative from the Chamber of Commerce and Investment as a permanent member of the committee responsible for determining fare regulations for freight transport companies, operating under the Ministry of Transport and Aviation. Following an in-depth discussion, the meeting established that the Ministry of Transport and Aviation is obligated to diligently uphold the established procedures for managing the turn system for cargo vehicles in all customs, guided by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Concluding the session, it was resolved that the representative of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs would partake as a committee member in the review of tax documents belonging to national traders and industrialists by the Ministry of Finance. The committee is expected to present its report to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office leadership.
