The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held on January 21, 2026, at the Marmarin Palace.

During the meeting, the issue of granting tax exemptions to new investors and industrialists in sectors where no investment has yet been made was presented for discussion. Following deliberations, a committee composed of representatives of the relevant institutions was tasked with finalizing the prepared document, taking all aspects into consideration, and submitting its report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within a short period.

Likewise, after discussions on the proposal for the maintenance and protection of water supply networks and the reactivation of deep inactive drinking water wells across the country, officials of the Ministry of Water and Energy were assigned to hold technical discussions with the proposing company and submit their report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee on the specified date.

Similarly, following discussions on the proposal for the construction of a commercial market in the First District of Kabul City, officials of Kabul Municipality were instructed to identify an alternative plot of land for the proposing company in place of the existing land in the First District of Kabul City and submit their report to the committee within the specified timeframe.
